The Tempur-Pedic mattress brand, part of Tempur Sealy International, with headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, will continue its support of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association through 2016. The mattress maker first sponsored the organization in 2010. As part of a new agreement, Tempur-Pedic is “the official sleep provider” of the association’s ski, free-ski and snowboard teams, a news release said.
The mattress brand is creating the Tempur-Pedic Sleep Center at the association’s Center of Excellence in Park City, Utah, and will be associate sponsor of the U.S. Freestyle Championships, March 27-29 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
“To compete at a world-class level in skiing, freeskiing and snowboarding requires incredible athleticism and endless hours of training, as well as quality rest and recovery,” said Patrice Varni, Tempur-Pedic senior vice president of brand marketing. “We look forward to delivering the best night’s sleep for USSA athletes, just as we do for Tempur-Pedic owners around the world.”
