Hoffman Estates, Illinois-based mattress major Serta announced that in 2014 it donated $50,000 in products and cash to Fisher House Foundation, which provides free lodging to the families of hospitalized veterans and active military. The Serta Comforts Our Heroes program aims to make Fisher Houses across the country more homelike and welcoming. Fisher foundation operates furnished housing near medical facilities across the United States and in Europe.
“Serta is honored to provide support for Fisher House Foundation,” said Andrew Gross, Serta senior vice president of marketing. “Through this partnership, Serta Comforts Our Heroes will be providing mattresses, meals and other items to benefit the families staying in Fisher House locations across the country.”
