The Mattress Recycling Council is busy engaging with stakeholders as it prepares to launch mattress-recycling programs in three states.
MRC recently hosted a booth at the Southern California Waste Management Forum’s annual conference in Pomona, California. More than 150 attendees asked questions about the MRC program created by California Assembly Bill 254 and learned how they can participate.
Earlier last fall, MRC met with more than 30 municipalities at Connecticut’s Annual Conference of Municipalities to encourage program participation. MRC plans to attend the Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns Annual Convention this month.
