CalRecycle, the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery, has initiated a rulemaking on proposed regulations to implement the state’s mattress-recycling law.
During a stakeholder input period, the International Sleep Products Association worked with CalRecycle to make sure the draft rules reflected the requirements of the law and did not create additional burdens for the industry.
Interested parties may submit written comments on the proposed regulations and participate in a public workshop on Feb. 11 at CalRecycle in Sacramento. ISPA plans to participate in the workshop.
