New York-based home furnishings producer Safavieh has entered the mattress segment with a line of innerspring mattresses that ship via U.P.S. The Safavieh Dream collection is competitively priced and comes in four profiles, from tight-tops, to pillow-top and box-top.
The beds use encased coils layered with pressure-relieving foams and employ DreamTECH technology, “a manufacturing process that enables the beds to be rolled up into a box that is small enough to be carried on the subway or fit into the trunk of a car,” the company said. Doorstep delivery is available anywhere in the world.
Dream mattresses are sold through the company’s “massive network” of online retailers—a network built by Safavieh Creative Director Jonathan Yaraghi over the previous five years.
“Breaking into the mattress business was a natural move for us,” Yaraghi said. “Our mattresses are ultra-comfortable, ultra-quality and competitively priced. We are democratizing an unnecessarily confusing purchasing process and making it easy and affordable for people to get a good night sleep.”
