Symbol gives Gillis mid-Atlantic territory

Manufacturer Symbol Mattress, with headquarters in Richmond, Virginia, has hired Gary Gillis to a territory sales position covering southeast Ohio, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He is based in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, and reports to Dick Mankamyer, Symbol northeast regional sales manager.

Gillis is a mattress-industry sales veteran who most recently was an account manager for the mid-Atlantic region with Simmons Bedding Co. Prior to that, from 1994-2006, he held a range of sales posts with the former Spring Air Co. and with Serta.
