Eugene Alletto, founder and chief executive officer of sleep accessories supplier bedgear based in Farmingdale, New York, has been named 2015 EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the New York region. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and success in areas such as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
The award was presented during a gala at the Marriott Marquis in New York on June 16.
Alletto now is eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur of the Year national program. Award winners in several national categories will be announced during a gala in Palm Springs, California, on Nov. 14. Alletto founded bedgear in 2009.
