Harrison, a mattress producer that is part of Leeds, England-based Harrison Spinks, introduced the Bed Tailor collection in September, at the National Bed Federation’s Bed Show. Six “Natural” and four “Luxury” mattresses use the company’s proprietary Revolution “spring-within-a-spring” pocket- spring core, and HD microcoils in the cushion. The company uses natural fiber and fill in its mattresses, including mohair, cashmere, horsehair, flax and hemp.
A point-of-sale system for Bed Tailor employs Harrison’s rebranded “fresh and modern” look, to help retailers tell a unique story to consumers, according a news release.
The bespoke Bed Tailor mattress can be manufactured to any specification, including height, size and comfort, with the option of 72 different upholstery fabrics, 16 headboards and 11 storage units. All Harrison beds are available in three comfort options—gently supportive, medium support and firm support.
