Tustin, California-based buying Group BrandSource has created the new Power Dealer division, which combines Resource Plus and other larger BrandSource members—typically with annual sales volume above $20 million. The elite group of larger dealerships has access to “unparalleled programs and services as well as a platform to share best business practices,” a news release said.
“Larger dealers have a very unique set of challenges and circumstances,” said Bob Thompson, managing director and general manager of the Power Dealer division.
“The Power Dealer division is designed to give larger members enhanced programs and services as well as a direct connection with BrandSource leadership to help them run their businesses more successfully and keep them poised for growth.”
A stand-alone Power Dealer meeting, other gatherings and regular conference calls are being planned to create a “strong line of communication between Power Dealers and BrandSource leadership,” Thompson added.
