Sheila Luciano and Krista Plume have joined Natick, Massachusetts-based Customatic Adjustable Bedz
Luciano is business development manager and is responsible for account management, customer service and coordination with Customatic’s overseas factories.
Luciano most recently worked for a sleep accessory supplier, focusing on wholesale product development. Prior to that, she worked at Sleepy’s as a merchandise coordinator and buyer, and also assisted in developing the company’s Internet business.
“As our business continues its brisk growth, we are adding more experienced industry professionals to help service our clients and coordinate the shipment of goods,” said Phil Sherman, Customatic partner. “Sheila has a terrific understanding of the dynamics of our industry and is a great asset to our team.”
Plume is chief human resources and finance officer, overseeing all aspects of human resource management and the company’s finances.
Previously, Plume worked for more than 17 years at CA technologies as payroll manager and in human resources. She also ran her own business setting up payroll, accounting software and organized bookkeeping for other companies.
“As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we started looking for a more seasoned leader for our finance and human resources functions,” Sherman said. “Krista has great experience in the technology sector, which is a related industry to ours in terms of its focus on innovation and large-scale implementation.”
