OoRoo America, with headquarters in Fall River, Massachusetts, has launched a collection of portable and compact temporary mattresses, as well as pet beds, that it sells directly to consumers via the OoRooBeds.com website.
The signature OoRoo Bed is a lightweight foam mattress with quilted cover that trifolds into a small ottoman or partly unfolds to become seating. The product is sold with slipcovers in a choice of colors to match room decor. The beds use polyurethane foams made with a percentage of renewable content and are touted as a more comfortable alternative to temporary airbeds and cots. Beds are available in three models in twin or twin XL sizes. Prices range from $360 to $470.
The foam-filled OoRoo Beach bed rolls up into a lightweight, compact carry tote and is covered with a choice of water-, stain- and UV-resistant Sunbrella fabrics. The OoRoo Pet bed, covered in impervious, stain-resistant Crypton fabric, is a smaller version of the OoRoo Bed and it, too, trifolds to a compact size for easy storage.
All products are made in the United States and are sold with a 90-day return policy. The OoRoo name is derived from aboriginal Australian for “see you again soon.”
