Canadian nonprofit Canopy Planet has rated the Lenzing Group, a supplier of cellulosic fibers based in Lenzing, Austria, No. 1 in the world for its wood-sourcing practices.
The Vancouver-based environmental organization works with more than 750 of the forest industry’s largest customers to create solutions for the world’s forests. Canopy also commended Lenzing for its new Tencel fiber, which uses cotton fabric waste as an alternative raw material.
