Leggett & Platt Inc.’s machinery division, Global Systems Group, now is the global sales agent for gluing machinery manufacturer Quarrata Forniture Srl, based in Quarrata, Italy.
Global Systems Group, part of Carthage, Missouri-based Leggett & Platt Inc., now markets a complete line of state-of-the-art adhesive-application machinery from Quarrata, Italy-based Quarrata Forniture Srl. It includes this gluing line that features the Rollflex rollcoater (foreground) with stainless steel rollers for durability and chemical resistance when applying water-based glue.
GSG will market Quarrata’s lineup of advanced roll-coat and spray-coat machinery, heat-dryer equipment and other systems to bedding manufacturers.
Quarrata is an established company with a reputation for producing high-quality machinery for foam-encased and layered-foam mattress constructions, according to a news release from Carthage, Missouri-based L&P. Quarrata’s products will strengthen and diversify GSG’s existing offerings in the category.
