Dennis Wolkin, chief operating officer of Atlanta-based Colgate Mattress Atlanta Corp., received the 2016 Faces of Manufacturing Award, an initiative of the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Dennis Wolkin was selected from hundreds of nominees across the state for his contributions to the manufacturing sector and its impact on Georgia’s economy. Family, friends, employees and several distinguished guests attended a private ceremony at Colgate’s factory in Atlanta.
“It’s certainly an honor to be recognized, but the Faces of Manufacturing award is mine in name only,” Wolkin said. “This accolade really belongs to the amazing employees who show up to work at the Colgate factory every day. From the front office and sales to the loading dock, our success would not be possible without their commitment to excellence.”
The Georgia Institute of Technology award honors men and women in Georgia whose talents and contributions to the state’s manufacturing sector have significant impact on local communities and the state economy.
