Retail software provider Storis, with headquarters in Mount Arlington, New Jersey, was named by business magazine NJBIZ one of the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey for 2017.
Storis, which employs 116 people, was recognized, along with 64 other companies in the small to medium category of best places to work and 35 larger companies employing 250 or more. Companies across the state are invited to enter the contest, now in its 12th year, and undergo a two-part evaluation process to determine the winners.
The contest is meant to single out employers that benefit the state’s economy and workforce. The assessment process includes anonymous feedback from employees and is managed by a third party that analyzes all data and creates a company ranking. During an awards ceremony on April 26, each company’s rank within the 100 Best list will be revealed. In 2014, Storis earned the No. 1 slot in its size category.
“This award is greatly influenced by the team of people here at Storis,” said Barbara DeGenova, Storis senior manager of human resources. “It’s gratifying to know that our people are happy to come to work every day.”
