Boston-based mattress licensing group Spring Air International has named Michael Giurleo to the new position of director of e-commerce.
The post is part of the company’s strategic initiative to capitalize on the power of digital marketing to communicate more frequently and effectively with consumers, Spring Air said in a news release. This follows an earlier notice that the company has retained a new social media agency.
Giurleo joins Spring Air from Commonwealth Financial Network, where he had been a marketing consultant since 2014.
His primary responsibility is to “define marketing and e-commerce goals that support Spring Air’s overall vision and branding efforts,” said Nick Bates, Spring Air president.
“Mike will engage with and grow our e-commerce business partners and will define strategies for marketing to our online retailers,” he continued. “He also has been tasked with overseeing all of our web and social media services. Bringing Mike and his extensive experience to the Spring Air team is just one more step we’re taking in the online world.”
