Innocor Inc., a supplier of flexible polyurethane foam components and finished products based in Red Bank, New Jersey, has named Bill Wagner senior vice president of its commercial division.
Innocor also promoted Nitin Chadda to senior vice president of Innocor Comfort, the consumer products division.
Wagner succeeds Jeff Briney, who retired at the end of June after spending more than 25 years in the polyurethane foam industry.
Wagner previously spent 28 years with Dow Chemical Co., most recently as the global business director of Dow Construction Chemicals. He has extensive experience implementing sales excellence initiatives, managing a product innovation pipeline, and using sales and operations planning tools to drive business performance. Prior to that, he was commercial manager with Rohm and Haas.
“We are thrilled to have Bill join us to lead Innocor’s commercial division,” said Carol Eicher, president and chief executive officer. “His broad, firsthand field sales experience has enabled him to build deep customer relationships and industry knowledge, and these rich commercial management experiences translate well to our business.”
Wagner and his team are tasked with bringing innovative new technologies to manufacturers of a variety of different foam-based products including bedding, furniture, packaging and more.
Commenting on his new post, Wagner said: “I’m excited to join Innocor and lead the Innocor Foam Technologies team. “We will continue to focus on leveraging our vast manufacturing footprint and unique technical capabilities to deliver the most value-added foam solutions for all applications, where and when our customers need them.”
Chadda, whose previous title was executive vice president of product management and innovation, is responsible for leading the Innocor Comfort sales, marketing and product development teams. The division counts top retailers among its customers and sells direct to consumers via SleepInnovations.com.
“With Nitin taking on this critical leadership position within our company, Innocor is now even better positioned to continue the successful growth journey we started just a few years ago,” Eicher said. “Nitin has proven himself as an outstanding leader throughout his career, and I am proud and excited for what his leadership will mean to the future of the company.”
Chadda commented that he is “truly honored and excited to lead the Innocor Comfort division. We will continue our mission to lead the bedding industry by bringing the most cutting-edge, high-quality sleep products to consumers with the help of our valued retail partners.”
