A select number of Mattress Firm stores now floor online boxed-bed brand Purple, which has headquarters in Alpine, Utah.
Approximately 13 Mattress Firm stores in Washington D.C., were the first to offer Purple mattresses, followed by stores in Austin, Texas, and Sacramento, California. These locations were chosen by the Houston-based sleep shop chain following consumer research, which also will inform future locations and launches.
Sam Bernards, chief executive officer of Purple, said, Mattress Firm is “laser-focused on helping people find a bed perfectly suited to their needs. That passion makes them an exciting distribution partner for us.”
