Bloomingdale’s Manhattan flagship store has redesigned and expanded its Kluft boutique to 2,000 square feet, E.S. Kluft & Co. announced.
The luxury manufacturer, which is headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, California, has a prominent partnership with the upscale department store chain, Bloomingdale’s.
The overall look of the Kluft department at Bloomingdale’s, with its giant, illuminated image of Lower Manhattan, is meant to convey “upscale city living,” a news release said. The retailer will regularly rotate in other iconic New York City scenes as the department’s backdrop.
The store-within-a-store floors the Kluft Signature and Kluft Royal Sovereign collections. The pure white beds are displayed with Kluft upholstered headboards and sit on an exclusive microcoil-containing adjustable base that the manufacturer designed in collaboration with Reverie.
“Our new presentation in the New York Bloomingdale’s helps translate (our brand) story of luxury and beauty,” said David Long, Kluft vice president of marketing. “It only makes sense that the world’s finest beds be presented in an upscale manner.”
