Manufacturer Symbol Mattress, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, has promoted Roxanne Hrkman to the newly created post of vice president of demand management.
Hrkman, who joined Symbol in 2013, was manager of customer service. In her new position, she is responsible for inventory planning, control and forecasting. She continues to lead customer service, in addition to overseeing purchasing of fabrics and tapes. She also supports the company’s enterprise resource planning system upgrade. She reports to Mike McQuiston, Symbol president.
“Our growth over the last few years has created the need for a demonstrated leader to manage and coordinate our entire inventory supply chain,” McQuiston said. “Roxanne’s skill set in this position will allow Symbol to better purchase, forecast, manage inventories and produce more efficiently. This newly created position is part of our long-term strategic growth plan, and we are proud to have Roxanne in it.”
