Farmingdale, New York-based Bedgear has opened a number of Bedgear Performance Sleep Shops in Thailand through a partnership with Dunlopillo (Thailand) Co. Ltd., which has headquarters in Samut Prakan province, near Bangkok.
Cool factor A sleep products fashion show starring Thai celebrities and models lent excitement to the grand opening of a Bangkok department store’s new boutique from Bedgear, which has headquarters in Farmington, New York.
Dunlopillo Thailand is a vertically integrated bedding manufacturer that is both a wholesaler and retailer.
The Bedgear boutiques have opened within five Thai department stores and bedding retailers, and 15 more are scheduled to open this year, according to a Bedgear news release. The company also recently added shops in Australia and China.
A fashion show was held during a grand opening of the sleep shop in Central Department Store’s flagship location in Bangkok. Models and Thai celebrities participated in the well-attended event.
“We are committed to bringing personalization and performance lifestyle products to Thai customers, helping them to accomplish more each day by providing them with maximum recovery at night,” said Eugene Alletto, Bedgear chief executive officer. “We are confident that Bedgear’s Performance Sleep products will be as in demand in Thailand as they have been in more than 10 countries around the world.”
