Protect-A-Bed, a Chicago-based supplier of mattresses and sleep accessories, says its training team is celebrating its outstanding success.
According to Jennifer Wright, director of training, retailers who participate in Protect-A-Bed University, an in-person and online training course, can expect to see per-store accessories sales climb to about 20% of total sales. This compares with an average of 5% to 10% of sales before the training. “It’s impressive to see the before/after impact of an effective training program,” she said.
