Nathan Bare, an industrial engineer with Cincinnati-based Casco Manufacturing Solutions was named a Rising Leader by the Goering Center for Family and Private Business at the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Linder College of Business.
Bare earned the honor for his redesign of Casco’s production floor. His employer is a U.S. manufacturer specializing in cut-and-sewn soft goods, such as mattress covers, stretcher pads, cushions and grill covers. It produces a range of products for health care, institutional and other clients.
Following his work redesigning plant processes, Bare now has turned his attention to product design and engineering in preparation for taking on a new role as head of Casco’s industrial engineering department next year, said Melissa Mangold, Casco president and chief executive officer.
