Sleep products supplier Soft-Tex International is producing and donating 10,000 masks with its SilverClear antimicrobial fabric protection. “With our factory in upstate New York we’re honored to be able to answer the call during these unprecedented times and provide this donation of masks to organizations in need,” said Chris Marsh, chief business officer. Those providing essential services in the Albany, New York, area close to Soft-Tex’s plant, receive priority and may request mask donations: at Soft-Tex.com/mask-donation/. The masks comply with CDC recommendations for using face coverings to reduce the spread of COVID-19, but are not medical-grade surgical masks or N95 respirators.
