Sleep products supplier Malouf has added a second distribution center in Lenoir, North Carolina, adjacent to its existing warehouse there. The 500,000 square feet of additional space will accommodate the Logan, Utah-based company’s growing product line, which now includes the home furnishings brand Salt Flat.
The new site, which previously served as a Home Heritage Group facility, brings Malouf’s total distribution space to nearly 4 million square feet. Its warehouses in North Carolina, Ohio, Texas and Utah allow the import company to fulfill most orders in the continental United States in two days.
“The additional space in North Carolina will help us continue exceeding our customers’ expectations with fast fulfillment to their stores and their customers’ homes,” said Ryan Egbert, Malouf national director of distribution. “We have an amazing team that understands our distribution capabilities and that the needs of our customers come first.”
Following renovations, the distribution center is expected to be operational this fall.
