Logicdata, a manufacturer of adjustable bases and mechatronic components, has promoted Dexter Weber to president of its North American business unit. He succeeds Stefan Knappitsch, who returned to company headquarters in Deutschlandsberg, Austria, following a successful 18 months spent solidifying U.S. operations, the company said.
Weber reports to Chief Executive Officer Johannes Gradwohl. He previously was North American sales and marketing manager, and now is responsible for the company’s growth strategy and, according to a news release, is focused on “creative, technological solutions for clients’ mechatronic systems needs in adjustable furniture.”
“Dexter is a proven and effective leader who has garnered the trust and respect of Logicdata leadership, associates and customers,” Gradwohl said. “I have every confidence that Dexter’s direction and drive will serve to strengthen and grow our strong partner relationships, and that he will continue to be a natural ambassador and resource for the office and bedding industries.”
Logicdata’s North American headquarters is a 50,000-square-foot facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, housing sales, marketing, customer support and product distribution functional areas. Its products are manufactured in Asia and Europe.
