Logicdata is producing and delivering its products on time and enjoying increased sales during the COVID-19 pandemic, the adjustable base supplier said in a news release. Due to a vertically integrated manufacturing process, where 100% of components are made in-house, the company is not affected by supply chain disruptions that many others are experiencing. This has allowed it to take advantage of the rapidly growing demand for e-commerce-friendly products.
In particular, the company has experienced an uptick in sales for Silver Series adjustable bases. It includes SilverStandard and SilverLite, both with a modular, ready-to-assemble design. They can be shipped by UPS or FedEx Ground, in one or two compact packages not subject to over-size charges. Logicdata also offers retailers complimentary product warehousing. Silver Series bases assemble in 15 minutes or less.
“Our products were built for the online world, and given the explosive growth in web traffic during the pandemic, we’ve been able to generate a lot of opportunities helping retailers navigate and adapt to new buyer patterns,” said Dexter Weber, Logicdata North America president.
“(Our) e-commerce options allow retailers to maintain customer engagement through local contactless delivery, with drop shipments directly from our U.S. warehouse and curbside pickup,” Weber said. “The bases are easily – and safely – deliverable and easily assembled, which are consumers’ top buying considerations.”
Logicdata has North American headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and world headquarters in Deutschlandsberg, Austria. Its products are manufactured in Asia and Europe and it employs more than 250 people in Austria, China, Slovenia and the United States.
