Bedding Industries of America, the North Brunswick, New Jersey-based mattress manufacturer and licensor of the Eclipse International and Eastman House bed brands, has begun a stylish celebration of the Eastman House brand’s 150th anniversary.
The company announced the launch of the Eastman House 150th Anniversary line at ISPA EXPO in March. The Anniversary group retails from $999 to $1,999, and features specialty and coil-on-coil constructions that use combinations of natural latex, gel and memory foam, as well as other high-end components and luxury fabrics.
Also on display was the finely detailed English Hand Tufted collection, which launched at High Point Market in October 2015. It now is available as a national program to U.S. retailers, with production in place at six U.S. Eastman House licensees.
The English Hand Tufted collection is special, said Matthew Connolly, president of Eclipse and Eastman House. “Old-school hand-tufting is a luxury feature rarely found on retail floors today. It reduces the likelihood of body impressions, improves the product’s stability and lifespan, tells a very visual story and, ultimately, helps retailers improve margins.”
The company said it is advertising and promoting the new Eastman House collections throughout the brand’s anniversary year.
