Chicago-based sleep products supplier Protect-A-Bed has opened a flagship boutique for its REM-Fit brand of “active lifestyle bedding” and announced its use of the data-gathering platform Hookit.
Occupying 1,000 feet at The Back Store in St. Louis, the space holds the brand’s entire product lineup, from mattresses to top-of-bed items and activity trackers.
By signing up with technology platform Hookit, REM-Fit is able to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of its sponsorship of 150 athletes who are a part of the team. The athletes, who participate in a range of sports, receive funding, as well as a package of products and coupons from the company, in exchange for helping to promote the brand.
“Opening our first REM-Fit location is a major milestone for the brand,” said James Bell, Protect-A-Bed chief executive officer. “We’re looking forward to serving the St. Louis community and hope to help more people reach their fitness goals with our premier sleep and technology products.”
