BEDDING, FURNITURE INDUSTRY VETERAN McCAULEY TO SELL SYMBOL®, ENGLANDER® PRODUCTS IN NEW ENGLAND MARKETPLACE
RICHMOND, Va.—Home furnishings veteran Mary McCauley has been appointed a sales representative for both Symbol Mattress and Englander® Sleep Products in the New England market, announced Nick Hrkman, Symbol’s national sales manager.
In her new post, McCauley, who lives in Connecticut, will report to Jim O’Toole, northeast regional sales manager for Symbol.
“Mary has extensive bedding and furniture experience in New England and a history of strong relationships and success working with her dealers,” O’Toole said. “We’re very excited to have her on our team.”
From 2006 to 2016, McCauley served as a multi-line sales representative for John Thomas Furniture and Glideaway Bed Carriage Company. During that period she also was at Drexel Heritage (2012-2014), working with high-end furniture stores to develop Drexel’s luxury designer business.
McCauley’s professional history also includes sales positions with American Drew and Lea (2003-2009), Stanley Furniture (1995-2003) and Sealy Mattress Company (1992-1995).
