Mattress licensing group Eclipse International and Eastman House, part of North Brunswick, New Jersey-based Bedding Industries of America, has hired Armando Murillo for the newly created position of vice president and director of licensing for BIA.

Armando Murillo oversees national and international licensees, focusing on programs and sales opportunities, as well as on adding new licensees.
He reports to Stuart Carlitz, owner and chief executive officer of BIA, who said that Murillo’s hiring was a result of the company’s recent growth.
Before joining BIA, Murillo was with Spring Air International in a similar position. Prior to that, he held several sales and merchandising management posts with major retailers, including Art Van and The Brick. Murillo began his career in sales and sales management with mattress makers Sealy and Serta.
