Mark Jones
Mattress industry supplier HSM, with headquarters in Hickory, North Carolina, has named Mark Jones president and chief executive officer.
Jones, who had been interim president and CEO since July 2015, presides over the three operating divisions of HSM—Hickory Springs Mfg., HSM Transportation Solutions & Specialty Manufacturing and HSM Diversified Solutions.
In his more than 20-year consulting career, Jones has worked with many companies as interim president/CEO, chief operating officer and chief financial officer across a variety of industries, including home furnishings, automotive and transportation. He joined HSM from The Finley Group, an advisory firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was the managing director.
“Mark brings to the table a current working knowledge of our organization, a proven track record of strategy and execution, and a great passion for the long-term success of HSM,” said David Underdown, HSM board chair.
