Printing and marketing solutions provider Wright Global Graphics, based in Thomasville, North Carolina, has named Garry Jones vice president of manufacturing.
Jones succeeds Doug Floyd, who has retired after 42 years with the company. Previously, Jones was vice president of showroom solutions. In his new position, he oversees all production at the company’s four domestic manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Georgia. He reports to Greg Wright, president and chief executive officer.
Jones joined Wright in 1987 as a graphic artist responsible for prepress layout. He later held positions as a label designer and manager of the prepress department, overseeing Wright’s move toward more automated workflow and production processes. He also briefly worked in sales, and research and development.
“Garry’s talent and leadership skills are an incredible asset to us,” Wright said. “As a valued member of our team, he is a strategic planner with a firm grasp of current and emerging manufacturing technologies. His leadership skills are impeccable, and Garry has a great knack for honing talent. Under Garry’s leadership we’ll continue to see increases in our manufacturing capabilities and in our ability to meet our clients’ needs in an accurate and timely manner.”
