Talalay Global, a Shelton, Connecticut-based latex supplier and finished-products manufacturer, has expanded the responsibilities of key component sales executives Jeff Gober and Dan Manning.
The company also announced that Ken Hinman, formerly global marketing officer, has left Talalay Global to become president of a new design and apparel company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
Gober, executive vice president of sales for the Western U.S. region, has added Canada and Mexico to his territory. He rejoined Talalay Global in 2013, earning the company’s Salesman of the Year Award in 2014. He first worked for Talalay Global (then Latex International) from 2002 to 2008.
Manning, who has been with Talalay Global since 2014, was promoted from vice president to executive vice president of sales for the Eastern U.S. region.
Gober and Manning report to Kim Fisher, president and chief operating officer.
“Both Jeff and Dan are integral to our strategy of strengthening and growing our organization and to consistently providing our (original equipment manufacturer) customers with the highest-quality products and the best possible service,” Fisher said. “We’re very excited about both of these promotions, which empower and position our key sales executives for achievement and success in 2017 and beyond.”
