Classic Brands has hired Paris Fealy as vice president of sales. He is responsible for growing the Jessup, Maryland-based company’s adjustable base business and developing new sales strategies for its entire product lineup.
Fealy has more than 20 years in the mattress industry. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for Ergomotion, a post he held since 2013. Prior to that, he was a senior territory sales manager for Sealy Inc. (now Tempur Sealy International Inc.) and, before that, a key account manager for Serta (now Serta Simmons Bedding LLC). He began his bedding industry career with former sleep shop chain Mattress Giant.
“Paris’ wide-ranging sales experience in the mattress and adjustable bed categories makes him the perfect fit for this new position,” said Michael Zippelli, president and chief executive officer of Classic Brands. “It will allow us to raise our profile in the fast-growing adjustable bed market almost immediately. During his long career, he has earned the trust and respect of key people throughout the industry.”
Commenting on his position, Fealy said: “This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most dynamic, innovative companies in the industry. Adjustable bed sales are still on the rise, and I’m looking forward to raising Classic’s profile in the category.”
Fealy reports to Mark Owen, executive vice president of sales and business development for Classic Brands.
