Adjustable base supplier Customatic Technologies, headquartered in Natick, Massachusetts, has named Chris Henning to the new position president of North America sales.
Henning, who joined Customatic last year as executive vice president of sales and marketing, has more than 30 year of experience in home furnishings. Among the companies where he previously worked are Tempur-Pedic, Simmons Bedding Co., Kingsdown, King Koil, Dormeo Octaspring and Wesley Allen.
Customatic said in a news release that the sales leader position was created in a move to help provide greater communication and the ability to successfully enter new channels for sales initiatives.
Phil Sherman, Customatic Technologies president, said: “Chris joined our company one year ago. In that time, he has gained greater insight into our category and the culture of our company. He has demonstrated his character and professionalism, which are values in line with our corporate mission that will add to even greater success.”
Henning said, “I am proud to be part of such a great team and look forward to playing a larger role. Customatic is well-positioned today to leverage our vertical integration, product innovation and superlative customer-centric culture to accomplish our strategic goals in 2019 and beyond.”
