Atlanta-based mattress major Serta Simmons Bedding LLC has named
chief sales officer.
He succeeds Dan Horan, who has left the company.
Previously, Miller was senior vice president of sales and responsible for the company’s national accounts.
In his new role, Miller directs sales channels and leads, develops the sales organization and drives SSB’s sales strategy. He first joined the company in 1998 in its Dallas factory and became part of the SSB sales organization in 2000.
SSB owns and manages the Serta brand — which also has five independent licensees — and the Beautyrest brand. They are distributed through retail and hospitality channels throughout North America. The company also owns the Tomorrow and Tuft & Needle direct-to-consumer brands. SSB has more than 30 manufacturing plants in the United States and Canada.
