The Flex Group, a Madrid-based mattress manufacturer and retailer, has created a U.S.-based board of advisers to strengthen its knowledge of the country’s bedding market. In the United States, Flex owns E.S. Kluft & Co., based in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Members of the advisory board include Jodi Allen, former executive vice president of marketing for Sealy Inc.; Brian Beck, an expert in e-commerce and digital marketing; and Charlie Eitel, former chief executive officer of Simmons.
Rafael Gonzalez, CEO of the Flex Group, said he views a board of advisers “as a tool to broaden the talent pool, widen the experience and increase the understanding of the unique characteristics of the U.S. market when making decisions.
