Licensing group Restonic Mattress Corp., based in Buffalo, New York, teamed up with the Biltmore Co., owner of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, to hold a national contest for a free Biltmore-branded mattress. It ran from Sept. 16 to Sept. 30 and was promoted on Restonic’s blog and in other social media by both companies.
The 175,000-square-foot estate of the late George and Edith Vanderbilt was built in the late 1800s and patterned after European chateaus.
Restonic first partnered with Biltmore in 2018, creating the Biltmore mattress brand that it promotes on the Restonic blog, where it tells stories from George and Edith Vanderbilt’s lifetime.
“Biltmore is a well-storied brand and a strong supporter of our digital storytelling, helping us reach consumers, as well as retailers who may be interested in flooring the product in their stores,” said Julia Rosien, Restonic vice president of brand and digital marketing.
Tim Rosebrock, vice president and general manager of Biltmore Licensed Consumer Products, added: “We love the connection Restonic has made with the core essence of the Biltmore brand, to collaborate with us to bring high-quality luxury sleep products to our guests across the nation. We are extremely proud of our partnership with Restonic and grateful for the wonderful support of dealers who have embraced this program so fully.”
