Independent producer Page Bedding Co., based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Pictured (from left) are President Tim Page, Alison Page Gorchik and Walter Page. Tim Page said: “In 1947, my grandfather (Cloyd H. Page) started manufacturing mattresses in the Hornerstown section of Johnstown and, here we are 75 years later, still a family business producing products that keep up with all the latest sleep trends, all while specializing in exactly what the Johnstown and surrounding communities have liked to sleep on for decades.” Cloyd Page had acquired mattress-making experience while working for the National Mattress Company, also located in Johnstown, before embarking on his own venture along with two partners. He retired in 1978.
